EVERY DOLLAR HELPS
I personally fund the majority of all LDR expenses. I organized LDR as a non-profit for two reasons: 1) to spotlight the joy found with adopting senior dogs, and 2) to raise funds to help with veterinary costs. The more funds I raise, the more dogs I can take in. My home has ample comfy beds awaiting needy souls. However, given my commitment to providing excellent eldercare, I am limited financially on just how many seniors I can adopt.
LDR is organized as a 501(c)3 non-profit and filed an IRS Form 990 for calendar years 2022 and 2023.
In 2023, of the $44,068 in income, I personally contributed $17,433. Corporate donations accounted for $14,100. The remaining $12,535 came from individuals.
I take no salary nor compensation of any kind. I give my home freely to my family. I am essentially a one-woman show and I am ever-grateful for any and all support. Please consider a donation if you are in a position to do so.
