EVERY DOLLAR HELPS
I organized LDR as a non-profit for two reasons: 1) to spotlight the joy found with adopting senior dogs, and 2) to raise funds to help with veterinary costs. The more funds I raise, the more dogs I can take in. I personally contribute significant funds (see owner donations in the funding chart) to the company in addition to soft costs such as my home, etc. All donations by others go towards the key expenses of vet services, medications, food, grooming, and supplies.
LDR is organized as a 501(c)3 non-profit and filed an IRS Form 990 for calendar years 2022, 2023, and 2024 (currently submitted).
I take no salary nor compensation of any kind. I give my home freely to the cause. I am essentially a one-woman show and I am ever-grateful for any and all support. Please consider a donation if you are in a position to do so.
Every dollar helps!
